A hearty welcome to you to the Siva Sivani family, more particularly to Siva Sivani Degree College, Hyderabad (SSDCH), Raj Bhavan Road, Somajiguda.

Affiliated to the Osmania University, Hyderabad and a part of the 64-year-old legacy of the Siva Sivani Group of Institutions, SSDCH is fully geared up to prepare you for life, beyond your wildest imaginations.

Starting with a school in 1961, the Group forayed into higher education in 1992 with the inception of Siva Sivani Institute of Management (SSIM), the first AICTE approved non-University, non-Government standalone B-School in the then united State of Andhra Pradesh. Presently the Group imparts education from Nursery to Doctoral studies through Siva Sivani’s SPS High School, Siva Sivani Junior College, Siva Sivani Degree College (Autonomous) and Siva Sivani Institute of Management at its Kompally Campus.

With thirty two years of experience in imparting higher education in general and 21 years in under graduation in particular, we are fully prepared to cater to the educational needs of each student who is a part of SSDCH in a manner that suits his/her individual ability, thereby ensuring that every student is able to acquire knowledge and gain experience that will enable each of them to brave all odds and face adversities in life more confidently.

We proudly state that at any institute of higher education of Siva Sivani we do not teach. We only help our students learn. Our illustrious Founder Sri S.P.Sampathy would often say “ A teacher can only teach a student to read, write, speak and understand a language. Beyond that a teacher can only help a student learn.” We assiduously believe in this.

More than six decades of our experience has also taught us, repeatedly, that to achieve anything of significance, every stake holder, be it the students, parents, administrators, faculty or anyone for that matter must be disciplined. By discipline we mean that there is a specific way and time to do things failing which nothing significant can be achieved.
